Yamaha Snoscoot 80 Fuel Primer Kits

We offer fuel primer kits for the classic Yamaha Sno-scoot 80. The factory "choke" feature on the original Scoot is actually a fuel enricher circuit, and the stock choke plunger (part number 5V7-14171-00-00) has been discontinued. This kit provides a reliable cold-start solution and includes everything needed for installation.

Installation Overview:

• Remove the carburetor choke cable and plunger, install the choke block-off plug, and screw the cap snugly to seal the chamber
• Install the included T-fitting just before the fuel pump
• Mount the primer pump in the dash panel where the choke cable was located
• Install the machined spacer plate between the intake boot and reed cage using included gaskets and bolts
• Connect the T-fitting “fuel-in” port to the pump and “fuel-out” port to the aluminum spacer plate fitting
