This is the short shaft that is mounted mid swingarm that allows the rear drive chain to be offset around the fat rear tire. The original Yamaha shaft, part number 54G-2214H-01-00, was discontinued a few years ago. But we have been able to get a talented machine shop to recreate them for us.
