Since the original Yamaha ignition modules (part numbers 54G-85540-M0-00 for kickstart and 1RL-85540-M0-00 for electric start) have been discontinued, we partnered with a U.S.-based ignition specialist to produce a modern digital CDI for these machines.

Can’t wait to get it
My ‘85 BW200 never ran great before. Allways hesitations at cerntain throttle positions, sometimes hard to start. Somtimes it just died whilst running. Rebuilding carb, clean airfilters etc. Made no difference.
After changing to this CDI all problems where gone instantly. Super nice linear and strong, at all hights (trail riding between 1500 and 9000 ft). Absolute recommendation.
