these do not allow you to bolt the output shaft sprocket cover on. The holes are too close together and the original output shaft sprocket is much thicker giving the chain more surface area for wear.

We believe you purchased the REAR DRIVE front sprocket, not the FRONT DRIVE output shaft sprocket. That sprocket we have a seperate listing for and is an OEM Yamaha unit that will mate correctly to the engine output shaft. Please let us know is you need further clarification.
